Tiger Challenge & Tiger Scholars

Tiger Challenge for Grades K–6  •  Tiger Scholars for Grades 7–8

LSU Tiger Challenge is a unique academic summer program that engages the interest and imagination of students entering kindergarten through 8th grade. Exemplary teachers integrate math, reading, writing, science and social studies around stimulating themes designed for each grade level. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills are emphasized in a community of motivated students. Experience a series of programs that capture interest, create engaging hands-on projects, and result in valuable preparation for the upcoming school year. Course themes and content are developed based on state curriculum standards.

Kindergarten Tiger Challenge Camp is two weeks in duration; Tiger Challenge and Tiger Scholars courses for grades 1 through 8 are one week. Most courses have full (8:00 am-4:30 pm) and half-day (8:00 am–12:00 pm) options for added flexibility for parents.
