LSU Robotics Summer Residential Program

In partnership with LSU Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
Designed for students entering grades 9-12

Do you think you might want to pursue a professional career in the STEM field? Robotics is at the intersection of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science. This new summer camp explores the basic principles behind the fascinating and growing world of robotics while giving you a sneak peek into life as an LSU Engineer. Learn about the essential components of robotic systems by using the VEX platform to build and program a functioning robot. The camp involves hands-on activities and the opportunity to interact with LSU faculty and students.

  • Get a taste of college life—live on campus (includes residence hall accommodations and meals)
  • Visit LSU facilities, attend field trips and participate in group activities
  • Explore different robotic platforms being used for research and education at LSU.
