Louisiana State University invites students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 and who are engaged in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) research to participate in the Louisiana Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. Sponsored by the U.S. Army Research Office, Office of Naval Research, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, students compete for scholarships and recognition by presenting the results of their original research to a panel of judges in an oral presentation format.
Our top 5 award winners will earn an expense-paid trip to compete at the JSHS National Symposium later this year and compete against the brightest young science minds in our country. Join us at La-JSHS and showcase your research!
